Lucknow | During a press conference alongside Rahul Kumar Kamboj, Member of Parliament from Frankfurt, Germany, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav called for fostering stronger international ties and addressing employment concerns for India's youth.
“The greatest need today is to build bridges between each other,” Yadav stated, stressing the importance of collaboration and understanding in a rapidly globalizing world. Reflecting on his visits to Germany, he highlighted how the country serves as an example of progress and innovation.
“We have found a good friend in a prosperous country like Germany,” Yadav remarked, acknowledging the potential for partnerships in technology and economic growth.
Employment emerged as a key theme of his address. “Today’s generation needs employment. The youth wants to work hard,” Yadav said, underscoring the importance of creating opportunities for young people.
Drawing parallels between global and local infrastructure, Yadav expressed pride in Uttar Pradesh’s achievements. “When I first visited Germany, I thought of building similar kinds of best roads in UP as well. When people walk on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway, that road appears among the best of roads built in the country,” he added.
