Akhilesh Yadav Calls Music a Remedy for Unrest at Holi-Eid Milan Event

Lucknow: In a message of harmony and cultural unity, Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav addressed the 'Aao Gale Mile: Holi-Eid Milan' programme held at the SP headquarters in Lucknow. The event brought together people from diverse communities to celebrate the spirit of togetherness during the twin festivals of Holi and Eid.

Speaking at the gathering, Yadav highlighted the unifying power of music, calling it a therapeutic force capable of dispelling unrest in the country. “Music is therapeutic, and with it, we can eliminate the unrest in our country,” he said, addressing supporters and party workers.

He took a veiled jab at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), stating, “Some forces do not understand music. SP has done some such work that the BJP is not able to understand even now.” Emphasizing the SP’s commitment to social unity, Yadav reiterated that his party would continue efforts to bring people together, regardless of caste, creed, or religion.

“We will keep working to unite the country,” he said, expressing hope that the public would continue to bless the SP with support in the political battles ahead.
