Madhubani: As the Bihar Assembly Election 2025 gains momentum, Samajwadi Party (SP) Chief Akhilesh Yadav extended strong support to Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav, calling for a transformative and youth-driven vision for the state. Speaking at a rally in Madhubani, Akhilesh drew parallels between his initiatives in Uttar Pradesh and the developmental path he envisions for Bihar.
“In Uttar Pradesh, we gave laptops to young people for employment, jobs, and education. We’ll tell Tejashwi Yadav ji that daughters should ride bicycles, study hard, and when they achieve good marks, they should be given laptops,” Akhilesh said, emphasizing education and digital empowerment as key to progress.
He took a dig at the BJP, saying, “These BJP members can’t even operate laptops,” while expressing confidence that Tejashwi Yadav would usher in a “new way of thinking” focused on inclusive growth.
Outlining his vision for a “New Bihar,” Akhilesh promised employment opportunities, respect for backward and Dalit communities, and prosperity for farmers. He added, “After Bihar, there are elections in UP too. When there are young Chief Ministers on both sides, development will only accelerate.”
