Mumbai: Amid the political buzz surrounding the Mahayuti alliance forming the government in Maharashtra, NCP Chief Ajit Pawar delivered a lighthearted remark that left everyone at the press conference in splits.

When asked by the media whether Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde would be taking the oath as Deputy Chief Minister, Pawar responded with a quip: "He (Shinde) may take time and decide by the evening. I’ll be taking the oath."
