Mumbai, Maharashtra: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar attributed the alliance’s recent electoral success to the impactful Ladki Bahin Yojana, calling it a "game changer" that overcame opposition challenges. Reflecting on the victory, Pawar emphasized the need for responsible governance and financial discipline to fulfill promises made to the public.
“Ladki Bahin Yojana became our game changer. It defeated each of our adversaries. I have not seen such a victory in my memory,” Pawar said, adding, “We will not be swayed away by the victory, but this has increased our responsibility for sure.”
Highlighting the importance of sound fiscal management, he remarked, “Especially financial discipline is needed to fulfill all our promises. We are committed to that.”
Responding to allegations regarding EVMs, Pawar dismissed the claims as baseless. “Those who are blaming EVM must remember that we lost Lok Sabha on EVMs only, and now we have lost Jharkhand on EVM only. We lost a few seats with very thin margins,” he stated.
Pawar assured that the alliance remains united and committed to working together for the next five years, focusing on Maharashtra's holistic development. “This alliance will work together till the end of the next five years for the overall development of Maharashtra,” he concluded.
The remarks reflect the alliance's determination to capitalize on its victory by delivering on key initiatives and maintaining public trust in the years to come.
