New Delhi | The AICC Odisha in-charge Dr. Ajoy Kumar has launched a sharp attack on Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi over his alleged remarks on tribal women, questioning his leadership and accusing the BJP of using tribal leaders to further its corporate interests.
Speaking on the controversy, Dr. Kumar said, "We have protested against the Chief Minister... But does he not have sense? He himself is a tribal, and he is calling the people of his community 'dirty'... He has no control over his words."
Escalating his criticism, Dr. Kumar accused the BJP of tokenism in appointing tribal Chief Ministers. "BJP has made two tribal CMs—in Odisha and Chhattisgarh—so that the tribal community can be killed by the hands of tribals. They will give land, jungles, and water to corporate entities… This is the agenda of BJP-RSS. We will not let this succeed," he said.
