Ahmedabad | In a moment of pride for Gujarat, 17-year-old differently-abled Om Jignesh Vyas has been honored with the prestigious Prime Minister’s National Child Award for his exceptional contributions to art and culture. President Droupadi Murmu presented the award to Om in recognition of his extraordinary achievements.

Despite being unable to read or write, Om has memorized nearly 2,000 Sanskrit shlokas, including entire chapters of the Sundarkand and verses from the Bhagavad Gita. What makes his accomplishment even more remarkable is that he has achieved this feat purely by listening, showcasing an extraordinary memory and dedication.

Om’s achievements have earned him recognition in 18 record books, including the Limca Book of Records. His talent and perseverance have inspired countless individuals, as he continues to defy the odds and excel in his chosen field.
