By A Staff Reporter

Hyderabad, Telangana: Advocate Ranga Prasad, part of the legal team representing actor Allu Arjun, addressed the media following the granting of interim bail to the star. The actor had been arrested by the police while a cross-petition related to his case was still pending before the Telangana High Court.

"The cross-petition was pending before the High Court. While it was pending, the police arrested him," explained Prasad. He clarified the legal nuances of the situation, stating that typically, a personal bail application would need to be filed. However, in this case, the court has the discretion to grant interim bail even in the absence of such an application.

Prasad further emphasized that Allu Arjun, a well-known actor, had no involvement in the incident that led to his arrest. "The counsel requested the court for interim bail, highlighting that he is a famous actor who has no involvement in such an incident," he said.

The interim bail decision, which allows the actor temporary release pending further legal proceedings, has sparked significant public attention, particularly due to Allu Arjun's status as a prominent figure in the Telugu film industry. His supporters have voiced concerns over the nature of the case and the circumstances surrounding his arrest.

Legal experts note that while interim bail is granted in certain situations, the ongoing court proceedings will determine the final legal standing of the case. Allu Arjun’s defense team remains confident that the full legal process will clear his name.
