The Adani Group on Tuesday announced a strategic partnership with Google to build India’s largest AI data centre campus in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, underlining the country’s growing importance in the global digital ecosystem.
In a joint statement, Adani Enterprises, through its data infrastructure arm AdaniConneX, said the project would be powered by 100% renewable energy, reinforcing India’s commitment to sustainable digital growth. The facility will serve as a critical hub for AI, cloud computing, and digital innovation, catering to both domestic and international demand.
The partnership also includes the development of new green energy infrastructure, ensuring that the massive data centre operates on clean and reliable power. “This collaboration with Google represents a landmark step in our vision to make India a global AI and data powerhouse,” the Adani Group said in a release.
