New Delhi: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Thursday announced that the approach road leading to Yamuna Bank Metro Station has become inaccessible due to the rising water levels of the Yamuna River.
In a public advisory, DMRC stated that while entry via the approach road is restricted, the station itself continues to remain operational. Passengers can still use the interchange facility at Yamuna Bank, which connects the Blue Line’s Noida and Vaishali branches with the Dwarka corridor.
Authorities have urged commuters to plan their journeys in advance and consider alternate routes to avoid inconvenience. Metro officials are working with local agencies to monitor the situation as water levels in the Yamuna continue to escalate, affecting nearby roads and low-lying areas.
