New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Saurabh Bharadwaj has questioned the Election Commission of India (ECI) over media reports quoting unnamed sources in connection with Congress MP and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi. His comments came after the ECI’s formal reply to Gandhi on matters related to the electoral process.

Bharadwaj alleged that if the reports were based on information from within the Commission, it raised concerns about the propriety of such disclosures. He stated that ECI official Gyanesh Kumar should take responsibility for addressing the matter and, if necessary, act against those behind the dissemination of the information.

The AAP leader also revisited his party’s earlier claims of voter list manipulation ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections. He noted that AAP had brought these issues to the attention of the Election Commission but alleged that no effective action was taken. According to Bharadwaj, this was also a moment when Rahul Gandhi could have supported the concerns, but he did not do so.
