New Delhi | Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh strongly reacted to Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar’s recent remarks on the judiciary, reaffirming the Supreme Court's constitutional role in reviewing legislation and accusing the central government of misusing its legislative powers.

“With all due respect to the Honourable President,” Singh said, referring to the Vice President in his constitutional capacity, “I would like to say that the Constitution grants the Supreme Court the authority to review any unconstitutional bill passed in Parliament.”

Singh further targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alleging that the bill in question is not in public interest but rather a veiled attempt to benefit private interests. “Unfortunately, it seems that Modi ji is struggling to understand this. This bill introduced by Modi ji is simply a ploy to transfer valuable land to his associates,” he alleged.
