New Delhi: AAP Chief National Spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar has criticized the BJP over the state of law and order in the country, following the recent knife attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan in Mumbai. She raised questions about public safety under the leadership of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Addressing the issue, Kakkar remarked, “When Arvind Kejriwal ji questioned them (BJP) on how celebrities are being attacked in Mumbai, and if even celebrities are not safe, then how will the common man be safe... BJP did not respond.”
The attack on Saif Ali Khan has sparked widespread concerns over safety in metropolitan cities, particularly Mumbai, which has long been regarded as one of the country’s most secure urban centers.
Kakkar also pointed to a worrying trend of threats to educational institutions. “In the last six months, there have been multiple threats to schools across different states, with warnings of bomb attacks. BJP must answer why there has been such a massive failure in law and order under Home Minister Amit Shah ji,” she added.
