Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Saurabh Bharadwaj on Thursday reacted sharply to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari’s statement that a “sponsored campaign” was being run against him, calling it a matter of serious concern.

Bharadwaj said that if a senior minister in the Union government is alleging a paid campaign targeting him, it indicates deeper internal issues. “If a campaign is being run against such a senior minister of the government, and as he said, it is a paid campaign, it is a very serious matter,” he remarked.

The AAP leader further claimed that such a campaign could not take place without the knowledge or approval of those in power. “No one can run such a campaign without the will of the government. This shows that there is a huge rift in the government,” he added.
