Leh, J&K: In a proud moment for the Union Territory of Ladakh, a total of 453 men and women officially joined the ranks of the Ladakh Police during a grand passing out parade held in Leh. The event marked a significant milestone for the region’s law enforcement strength and its growing commitment to gender inclusion.

Addressing the ceremony, Lieutenant Governor Kavinder Gupta expressed pride in the new recruits and the progress of the Ladakh administration. “It is a matter of pride and honour for the Ladakh administration and Ladakh Police as 453 men and women pass out today. This will strengthen Ladakh’s force, and they are well prepared to serve in various administrative roles,” he said.
