New Delhi: The final round of the All India K-pop Contest 2025 was held in the national capital, marking the 15th edition of the event and underscoring the growing cultural exchange between India and South Korea.
Welcoming participants and fans, Hwang Il Yong, Director of the Korean Cultural Centre India (KCCI), praised the Indian fan base for its enthusiastic and consistent support. “Thanks to the strong support from Indian fans, the All India K-pop Contest is now in its 15th year,” he said during the opening remarks.
Hwang highlighted the contest’s evolution over the years, noting that it has become more than a competition. “As we celebrate our decade of journey, the contest stands as a symbol of the deep culture bond between Korea and India,” he said.
