BY A STAFF REPORTER: Real Betis playmaker Isco is set to miss his side's last La Liga match and a possible transfer to Spain at Euro 2024. The 32-year-old midfielder left the field after being injured in the 2-2 draw with Betis at Las Palmas in La Liga on Thursday.

"Tests conducted by Isco have confirmed that the Malaga-born player has suffered a shaft fracture in the fibula of his left leg," Betis said in a statement. ' 

Sixth-placed Real Betis will host Real Sociedad in the last match of the Spanish league season.

Former Real Madrid star Isco last played for the national team in 2019 but was rumored to be in Spain's squad for Euro 2024.

"We all know him and we know his talent," Spain coach Luis de la Fuente said. '

De la Fuente will announce Spain's squad on May 27, with Euro 2024 starting in Germany on June 14.
