Oscars 2024: Robert Downey jr wins his first academy award

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Good news for all fans of Robert Downey Jr. because the Hollywood star won the Oscar for the first time for his performance in the biopic drama film 'Oppenheimer'. Downey Jr. won the award for Best Supporting Actor.

"Congratulations to Robert Downey Jr. on winning Best Supporting Actor for Oppenheimer," The Academy wrote in a post.

He beat out Sterling K. Brown (American fiction), Robert De Niro (Killers of the Flower Moon), Ryan Gosling (Barbie) and Mark Ruffalo (Poor Things).
