BY A STAFF REPORTER: Investment in India can be divided into two categories. The first is public investment, which has inflated in recent years. It is expected that the government will look at investment in the next fiscal year as well. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is likely to announce this in the interim budget. He may set a big target of capital expenditure in the financial year 2024-25. The government had set a capital expenditure target of Rs 10 lakh crore for this financial year.
The second investment is the private sector. It has been increasing for quite some time. Looking at the investment of listed companies in the capital market, it is seen that private sector investment has started. Private investment has been seen in the infrastructure and construction sectors.
