Women Tri-Services Contingent Participates in 75th Republic Day Parade

BY A STAFF REPORTER: As the Republic Day parade commenced, A tri-services Contingent comprising only women participated in the 75th Republic Day on 26th January in Delhi. 

The maiden all-women tri-service Contingent was led by Captain Sandhya. Moreover, it comprised of Agniveers and recruits. With the 'Seva Tatha Sahayata' motto, 148 women soldiers from the core of military police, Army, Navy, and Air Force participated in the contingent. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the forthcoming Republic Day is momentous because of two factors; firstly, it is the 75th Republic Day, and secondly, the Republic Day parade for the first time is dedicated to the Nation's women empowerment. 

The 75th Republic Day is scheduled for 26th January in Delhi's Kartavya path. Numerous contingents of the Indian forces will be featured along with vibrant tableaux of Indian states and Union Territories. Moreover, French President Emmanuel Macron is attending as the chief guest of the ceremony. He reached the venue with India's President Droupadi Murmu
