BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant development, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced the Aadhar Grievance Portal for the West Bengal government on 19th February, Monday. Banerjee slammed BJP and asserted that NRC will not be implemented in West Bengal.

Banerjee announced that the Aadhar Grievance Portal for the West Bengal government will start tomorrow, 20th February. She further urged those whose Aadhar Card has been deactivated to inform the government as they will be issued a new Aadhar card and continue enjoying their democratic, social, and economic rights.

Furthermore, Mamata Banerjee slammed the BJP for the National Register of Citizens. She accused the BJP of snatching the democratic rights of people and beneficiaries. Banerjee categorically stated that NRC will not be implemented in the state. "We are ready to give our blood, but we won't exclude any person from West Bengal" she added. She also argued that BJP is playing a 'dirty game'.

Mamata Banerjee has accused the BJP-led central government of deactivating the Aadhar card of Bengal's people to refrain them from benefitting from the social welfare schemes.
