By A Staff Reporter- Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram announced significant initiatives aimed at improving education and livelihood for the tribal community. Speaking about upcoming projects, Oram highlighted the Eklavya Model Mission schools, stating, "We are working on the Eklavya Model Mission schools. We are making 740 Eklavya Model schools." He emphasized the substantial financial commitment, noting that over one and a half lakh crore rupees are allocated for these schools.
In addition to educational initiatives, Oram mentioned efforts to enhance tribal livelihoods. "We are working on livelihood. We have given MSP in more than 87 items," he said, underscoring the government's commitment to providing Minimum Support Price for various tribal products. These initiatives are part of a broader strategy to uplift the tribal community through improved education and sustainable economic opportunities.
