Athawale emphasized that Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw is personally overseeing the situation, asserting that it's unfair to attribute blame to the BJP for such incidents. He urged Mamata Banerjee not to politicize the accident and emphasized the importance of the railway department ensuring that such incidents are prevented in the future.

"Mamata Banerjee should not engage in political maneuvers over this accident," Athawale stated. He underscored the necessity for the railway department to take effective measures to avert similar tragedies.
