By A Staff Reporter- Today, Union Minister for Environment, Forests, and Climate Bhupender Yadav chaired a comprehensive review meeting at the Forest Survey of India in Dehradun. The session focused on enhancing the management and mitigation strategies for forest fires across India. Attendees included the Director General of Forests & Special Secretary, senior officials from the Ministry, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) Uttarakhand, and officers from the State Forest Department. Key figures such as the DG of Forest Survey of India, DG of Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE), Director of Forest Research Institute (FRI), and other senior officials from these institutions also participated.
