Top Congress Leader Mahendrajeet Singh Malaviya Joins BJP

BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant development, Four-time Congress MLA and former state minister Mahendrajeet Singh Malaviya joined the Bharatiya Janata Party on 19th February, Monday in Jaipur, Rajasthan. 

As per reports, Malaviya was upset with the Congress party and didn't join the party while Sonia Gandhi filed nominations for the Rajya Sabha elections in Jaipur on 14th February. Moreover, Mahendrajeet Singh Malaviya represents the Bagidora Assembly seat in Banswara district.

Along with this, speculations about top Congress leader and former Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath joining the BJP have intensified. However, Congress leaders have vehemently denied the rumors. Furthermore, top Congress leaders including Ashok Chavan and Vibhakar Shastri recently joined BJP after resigning from INC.
