TMC Leader Shibu Hazra Arrested: TMC Gen Secretary Kunal Ghosh
He was a key accused alongside TMC leader Shahjahan Sheikh and Uttam Sardar in the alleged sexual exploitation and land-grabbing case in West Bengal's Sandeshkali.
BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a recent development, Shibuprasad Hazra was arrested in the Najar area of Basirhat village in West Bengal on 17th February, Saturday.
He was a key accused alongside TMC leader Shahjahan Sheikh and Uttam Sardar in the alleged sexual exploitation and land-grabbing case in West Bengal's Sandeshkali. Earlier, police nabbed Uttam Sardar. However, Shahjahan Sheikh remains absconding.
Moreover, Ghosh claimed that the allegations are yet to be proven. He further accused the opposition of carrying out fake campaigns.

Shibu Hazra will be produced before the local court on Sunday. As of now, 18 arrests have been made by the authorities concerning the Sandeshkali violence.
