Tamil Nadu: Virudhunagar Firecracker Unit Explosion Kills Nine

BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a tragic incident, an explosion at a firecracker manufacturing unit claimed nine lives and injured three in Tamil Nadu's Virudhunagar on 17th February, Saturday. 

The explosion occurred around noon today. The severely injured victims have been admitted to Sivakasi Hospital. Moreover, the plant's license has been seized. Furthermore, a thorough inquiry headed by the District Revenue Officer has been ordered. 

Additionally, four teams including the Fire department, Labor welfare department, Revenue department, and Police have been constituted to prevent further accidents and conduct research operations.
