Taliban Police Working On Orders of Bengal CM: BJP's Sukanta Majumdar

BY A STAFF REPORTER: A large group of BJP workers protesting against the law and order situation in West Bengal's Barrackpore were lathi-charged by the West Bengal police on Monday 29th January.

Moreover, the authorities also used water cannons to disperse the protest. West Bengal's BJP President Sukanta Majumdar addressed the WB police as 'Taliban police' working on the instructions of CM Mamata Banerjee. He even accused the police of lathi-charging female workers. Moreover, Majumdar stated that they would move the case to court against Officer Ashok Maurya. 

Sukanta Majumdar led a BJP workers' protest against the law and order situation in the state before the Commissioner's office in Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas on Monday 29th January.
