In Kolkata, BJP leader and West Bengal Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari accused the Trinamool Congress (TMC) of attempting to change the demographic composition of the state by removing Hindus and settling Rohingyas. Adhikari demanded clarification from TMC’s Abhishek Banerjee regarding the absence of five TMC MPs from Parliament, stating, "Everyone saw this live." He reiterated his claims, asserting that TMC's actions were aimed at altering the demographic landscape of West Bengal.
