Sunita Kejriwal Issues Video Statement. Reads Out Delhi CM's Message

Arvind Kejriwal stated that several internal and external forces aim to weaken India. He further urged people to be alert and identify such forces to defeat them.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Arrested Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's wife Sunita Kejriwal issued a video statement and read out Arvind Kejriwal's message on March 23, Saturday.

In the message addressed to the people of the country, Arvind Kejriwal stated that several internal and external forces aim to weaken India. He further urged people to be alert and identify such forces to defeat them. Kejriwal also urged the women of Delhi to trust their brother and son (Kejriwal) as he would fulfill his promise of providing every woman with Rs. 1,000. He further asserted that no jail would keep him behind bars for a prolonged period and he would be released soon. 

He also appealed to the AAP workers to continue working for social welfare and public welfare even though he is imprisoned. He also asked them to not hate BJP workers due to this and termed them as their brothers and sisters. 

Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court Remanded Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal to ED Custody till March 28 in the Delhi Liquorgate case on March 22, Friday. The decision came as ED demanded 10-day custody of Kejriwal and submitted 28 pages of evidence alleging his involvement in the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam. 

The Enforcement Directorate arrested Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal from his residence in connection with the Delhi Liquorgate case. He was arrested following search operations and Interrogations conducted by the ED at his residence on Thursday evening.
