BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a controversial statement, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra's Chief priest Acharya Satyendra Das on Saturday accused the West Bengal Chief Minister of executing attacks on Sadhus in West Bengal.

He stressed that the 'Bhagwa' (Saffron) color agitates Mamata Banerjee and consequently, she instigates such attacks on Sadhus. Moreover, emphasized that Congress is making excuses to avoid the Pran Pratishtha ceremony which is following all religious norms and rituals. On being asked about the politicization of Lord Ram, the Acharya stated that BJP has made Ram their own, following 'dharamneeti', devotion, and not 'Rajneeti'.

Three Sadhus from Uttar Pradesh were attacked by a large Mob in West Bengal's Purulia on Saturday as they were en route to the Gangasagar. As of now, 12 people have been arrested in connection with the case.
