The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced that the Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into the remaining parts of the North Arabian Sea and Gujarat, covering additional areas such as parts of Rajasthan, most parts of Madhya Pradesh, parts of West Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, most parts of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and parts of Punjab.
IMD also stated that conditions are favorable for the monsoon to advance into more parts of Rajasthan, the remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, more parts of Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh, parts of Haryana, Delhi, more parts of Punjab, and the remaining parts of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu over the next 2-3 days.
