Rajkumar Ranjan Singh Thanks PM Modi On 8 Naval Officers' Release

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Minister of State for External Affairs Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh on Monday appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the successful release of eight naval officers who were previously detained on espionage charges. 

Moreover, the MoS emphasized that PM Modi is respected globally and the government appealed and successfully convinced Qatar to release the navy veterans who were arrested and awarded death sentences. 

In a significant diplomatic victory, the Qatar authorities commuted the death sentence of the eight Indian Navy veterans, accused of espionage, upon the diplomatic intervention of New Delhi.
