BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a recent statement, Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha on Monday emphasized that India cannot prosper without Bihar's development. Hence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is hopeful of Bihar's development.

When asked about RJD chief Lalu Yadav's ED summons, Sinha stated that money-chasers always land in trouble. He further highlighted that politicians with intentions of serving the citizens do not fret.

Moreover, Sinha affirmed that Bihar's head figures will ensure progress in Bihar's development rate, social harmony, and promotion of the state's culture.

The statement comes after Bihar's Chief Minister Nitish Kumar resigned from his post on Sunday and formed a new government with the aid of BJP. Earlier in 2022, he had left NDA and joined Bihar Mahagathbandhan (grand alliance) which comprised Lalu Yadav's RJD, Congress, and three other parties. Additionally, Lalu Yadav today appeared before ED for an Interrogation round concerning the Land for Job scam case in Patna, Bihar.
