PM Modi Slams Rahul Gandhi For 'Nashedi' Remarks On UP Youth

In a recent statement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for passing 'Nashedi' remarks against Kashi's youth in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh on 23rd February.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a recent statement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for passing 'Nashedi' remarks against Kashi's youth in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh on 23rd February.

While addressing the gathering of people on the occasion of laying the foundation stone for developmental projects, PM Modi called Rahul Gandhi Congress 'Yuvraj' and recalled his nashedi remarks. PM Modi criticized Rahul Gandhi's choice of words and accused him of taking out his frustration on the youth of UP. He further asserted that the youth of UP is busy building a developed state. 

While holding Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Uttar Pradesh, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi remarked Varanasi's youth as Nashedi or Drunk on 20th February. He also stated that UP's future is drunk dancing on the streets of Varanasi. 

Additionally, PM Modi inaugurated and dedicated developmental projects worth Rs. 13,000 crores in his parliamentary constituency, Varanasi. He also unveiled a statue of Sant Ravidas ahead of Ravidas Jayanti.
