PM Modi Responds to Rahul Gandhi's 'BJP Selling PSUs' Allegations

Narendra Modi responded to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's allegations claiming that the BJP is selling PSUs on 7th February, Wednesday. He counter-accused Congress of destroying PSUs including BSNL, MTNL, HAL, and Air India.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: During his reply to the motion of thanks to the President's address in Rajya Sabha Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's allegations claiming that the BJP is selling PSUs on 7th February, Wednesday. He counter-accused Congress of destroying PSUs including BSNL, MTNL, HAL, and Air India.

He compared the state of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited during the Congress era and the Modi era, claiming that HAL has become the largest helicopter manufacturing company in Asia with record avenue generation. He also emphasized that Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, which was allegedly destroyed by Congress, is contributing to Made In India 4G and 5G. Modi also accused Congress of damaging Air India. He further claimed that the current government has turned the tables and Congress can't run away from its failure.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Ranchi, Jharkhand accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government of privatizing Public Sector Undertakings on 5th February, Monday.
