One Russian National Dead, Six Rescued In Gulmarg Avalanche

BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a major tragedy, one Russian national died while six were rescued as an Avalanche hit Gulmarg's Ski Resort in Jammu and Kashmir on 22nd February, Thursday. 

Furthermore, the Russian Embassy announced on their X handle that the six Russians were rescued through a joint rescue operation conducted by the Indian Armed Forces and regional administration. It further notified that the Russian Embassy is in constant contact with the Local authorities. 

The incident occurred at around 2:00 PM when an avalanche hit Gulmarg's Ski Resort, trapping foreigners under snow. Killing one and injuring others.
