By a staff reporter: At the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai Customs officials seized goods worth Rs 8.37 crore, including 12.74 kg of gold, in 20 cases.
Gold dust in wax and gold-layered cloth, crude jewelry and gold bars inside water bottles, and gold in various forms were cleverly concealed on the passenger's body.
Five passengers were arrested in this incident.
