NDRF Hosts Conferences to Boost State Disaster Preparedness

By A Staff Reporter: The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has organized capacity-building conferences to enhance the readiness of State Disaster Response Forces (SDRFs), Civil Defence, Home Guard, and Fire Services. The events showcased miniatures of equipment used in disaster search and rescue operations.

In conjunction with this, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) held its Annual Conference of Relief Commissioners from States and Union Territories. This conference, timed before the monsoon season, reviewed state preparedness for potential natural disasters. These initiatives underscore the commitment to improving disaster response and minimizing impact during the monsoon period.
