BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant move, NCP (SCP) unveiled its new party symbol (Man Blowing Tura) in the presence of former Maharashtra CM Sharad Pawar in Raigad, Maharashtra on 24th February, Saturday.
The new symbol was allotted by the Election Commission of India (ECI) on 23rd February. Moreover, NCP(SCP) leader Mahesh Tapase revealed that the launching ceremony is organized at Raigad Fort, claiming that it has an emotional connection with the people of Maharashtra. Furthermore, it is known as the capital of Chhatrapati Shivaji.

In a temporary relief to Sharad Pawar, the Supreme Court on Monday allowed Sharad Pawar to use 'Nationalist Congress Party-Sharad Chandra Pawar' until further orders. Moreover, the ECI recognized Ajit Pawar's faction as the authentic Nationalist Congress Party based on a legislative majority.
