Murshidabad Violence: Relief Camp Conditions Deteriorate, Children Left Without Adequate Food

Murshidabad — Shankar Das, a resident of the relief camp in Murshidabad, shared his distress over the inadequate food provisions for children in the aftermath of the recent violence. "Our house was demolished, and many people left their houses. Till now, we have not got milk or food for children and infants. Right now, only adults have got food; nothing has been given for children," he said.

Many families in the area are struggling with a lack of essential supplies, especially for the youngest members of their communities. Despite promises of assistance from the local authorities, the relief efforts have not been sufficient to address the immediate needs of children and infants. The situation in the camps remains dire, with many urging the authorities to act swiftly to ensure that no one, especially the vulnerable, is left without aid.
