BY A STAFF REPORTER: Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Wednesday stated that Congress shall not be taken seriously as they are stuck in their viewpoint.

He further asserted that the congress party leaders will regret their decision to decline the Ram Temple Inaugural invitation. He accused Congress of relying on their repeated set of arguments and beliefs which many BJP leaders claimed to be against the Ram Temple.

Hardeep S Puri has joined the list of BJP leaders who remarked against Congress' move of not attending the ceremony. Earlier, Union Minister Smriti Irani, Anurag Thakur, and BJP MP Manoj Tiwari accused the Congress of standing against the 'Sanatan Dharma' and the Ram Temple. Moreover, they recalled various occasions when Congress stood against the Ram temple.

The statement comes after Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary officially turned down the invitation for the Ram Temple consecration ceremony which will be held on 22nd January in Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh. They further termed it as a 'BJP/RSS event'.
