BY A STAFF REPORTER: The former Chief Minister of Bihar and RJD chief Lalu Yadav reached the Enforcement Directorate office for Interrogation related to the land for job scam case on Monday 29th January in Patna.

As the former railway minister reached the office, many RJD workers and members gathered outside the office to protest the summon and questioning round underway. Manoj Kumar Jha accused the BJP of harassing Opposition members. He termed the ED summon as a 'BJP summons'. Earlier, Delhi's Rouse Avenue court summoned Lalu Yadav's wife and ex-cm Rabri Devi along with her daughters Hema and Misa and other accused under PMLA 2002 in the same case.

The current chief minister Nitish Kumar resigned from his post and formed a new government with the aid of the BJP on Sunday. Earlier in 2022, he had left NDA and joined the Bihar Mahagathbandhan (grand alliance) which comprised Lalu Yadav's RJD, Congress, and three other parties.
