Kerala Minister Heads to Kuwait for Repatriation of Deceased Indians

By A Staff Reporter: In response to the tragic incident in Kuwait, Kerala Health Minister Veena George is set to depart for the country to facilitate the repatriation of deceased Indians, including 23 individuals from Kerala. Expressing her intentions, Minister Veena George outlined the coordinated efforts underway to bring back the bodies of the deceased.

"We are expecting the bodies of the deceased... we are informed that the bodies will be transported to Kochi," stated Minister Veena George. She further elaborated on the directives issued by the Chief Minister and the arrangements made to facilitate the process.

The Minister highlighted the grim toll of the incident, revealing that 23 Keralites were among the 45 Indians who lost their lives. In response to this tragedy, the Kerala government has mobilized resources, including 25 ambulances, to ensure a swift and dignified return for the deceased.
