Speaking at an event in Thiruvananthapuram today, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan voiced strong concerns over outdated university regulations. He emphasized the imperative to preserve and strengthen autonomy, cautioning against political maneuvers aimed at undermining it.
"University regulations are outdated. We cannot continue in this manner. Autonomy must be preserved and strengthened," Vijayan asserted, highlighting the government's role in safeguarding academic independence. He warned against neglecting political strategies that could erode university autonomy, urging vigilance and proactive measures to uphold academic freedom.
