In Bengaluru, Karnataka BJP President BY Vijayendra expressed strong criticism of the state government's handling of the dengue outbreak. "This government is not at all bothered. Even the concerned minister is sitting in Bengaluru and not touring the state. The state government has not taken this issue seriously," he stated. Vijayendra highlighted the alarming rise in dengue cases and fatalities, citing a tragic incident in his constituency where a nine-month-old baby succumbed to the disease. He announced plans to address this issue in the Assembly, emphasizing the urgency of government intervention to tackle the escalating public health crisis.
