ISRO Set To Launch INSAT-3DS From Sriharikota Today
In a landmark development, the Indian Space Research Organization is geared up to launch its 16th meteorological satellite, INSAT-3DS, nicknamed 'Naughty-boy' from Sriharikota on 17th February at 5:30 PM.
BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a landmark development, the Indian Space Research Organization is geared up to launch its 16th meteorological satellite, INSAT-3DS, nicknamed 'Naughty-boy' from Sriharikota on 17th February at 5:30 PM.
Moreover, the INSAT-3DS, a meteorological and disaster warning satellite will be deployed by the 16th flight of GSLV into the Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO). The following orbit-raising maneuvers will ensure that the satellite is placed in a Geostationary Orbit.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Earth Sciences is entirely funding the mission which is just a few hours away from its launch.
