On Wednesday, 19 opposition parties issued a joint statement boycotting the inauguration of the new Parliament building on May 28. These political party’s says, "When the soul of democracy has been taken away from Parliament, we find no value in a new building." Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new Parliament building on May 28.
