Sources say that Bahawalpur is the place where the Jaish-e-Mohammed base was established. This is where Masood Azhar, the mastermind of the 1999 IC-814 hijacking, founded this terrorist organization. Many suicide bombers were trained and sent from this area to attack Jammu and Kashmir.
