By a Staff Reporter : Narendra Modi has warned Pakistan that if it attacks India, it will be given a befitting reply. He conveyed this message to US Vice President JD Vance on Sunday in a phone call.

Vance spoke to Modi after the US received worrying intelligence about Pakistan. Modi said that India will respond more strongly if Pakistan attacks.
No National Security Advisor or Foreign Minister was present at the talks, but the talks were held at the DGMO level of the army. Although Pakistan wanted talks at the NSA level, India said that the talks can only be on the recovery of PoK, handover of militants and illegal occupation.
